AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, avoid deploying affected versions or restrict access to frontend JavaScript files if possible. Consider rotating OAuth client credentials if exposure is suspected.

Description

WIT SynApps Runtime versions up to 1.4.11 contain a vulnerability where static OAuth client credentials are hardcoded and exposed in frontend JavaScript files. This exposure allows unauthenticated attackers to extract the clientId and clientSecret, enabling them to impersonate the application in the OAuth authentication flow at the /web/api/v1/auth/token endpoint. The vulnerability undermines the confidentiality assurances of the OAuth implementation.
