Until a fix is available, consider restricting access to the vulnerable endpoint or implementing web application firewall (WAF) rules to detect and block malicious LINK parameter inputs.
Description
WIT SynApps Runtime versions up to 1.4.11 have a pre-authentication reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /System/Session-1 endpoint. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript by manipulating the LINK query parameter. Exploitation can lead to credential theft, login flow manipulation, access to browser-visible data, and same-origin requests to internal controller endpoints, including origin-switching in Cloud RIA scenarios.
