Description

AIL Framework versions up to 7.0.0 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the crawler domain view. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into stored URLs that are embedded unsafely in a JavaScript onclick handler. When an authenticated analyst interacts with the affected screenshot icon, the injected script executes within the analyst's browser session, potentially exposing sensitive information or enabling unauthorized actions. The vulnerability is due to improper encoding of user-controlled input before insertion into JavaScript context. A fix involves using Jinja's tojson filter to safely serialize the URL and prevent code injection.
