Description
A kernel information leak vulnerability was fixed in the Linux kernel's ieee802154 subsystem. The flaw involved uninitialized memory in the pan_id field of the ieee802154_addr structure when the address mode was IEEE802154_ADDR_NONE. This uninitialized data could be leaked to user space via the dgram_recvmsg() function. The issue was resolved by zeroing out the address structure to prevent leaking uninitialized stack memory.
