Description

GitPython versions before 3.1.54 have an OS command injection vulnerability due to an incomplete denylist in the unsafe_git_clone_options. This flaw allows attackers to use the --template option to specify a directory with malicious post-checkout hooks, which execute during git clone operations. This can lead to arbitrary command execution on the affected system.
