A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel after version 5.13. Users and administrators should update to a fixed kernel version containing the referenced commits to remediate this issue.
Description
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's vmalloc subsystem was fixed. The function is_vm_area_hugepages() did not check if find_vm_area() returned NULL before dereferencing it, which could cause a kernel crash. This issue affects Linux kernel version 5.13.
