Description
CVE-2026-74339 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA sequencer interface where a variable event pointer is not cleared properly during a read operation. This allows a userspace sequencer client to read kernel memory addresses from the extension-cell kernel address in the event header. The issue has been resolved by clearing the temporary header pointer before copying data to userspace, preventing leakage of kernel addresses.
