Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ems_usb driver was addressed by validating CPC message lengths. The issue involved the ems_usb_read_bulk_callback() function processing CPC messages packed in a single USB receive buffer without proper length checks. The fix ensures each declared message fits within the USB Request Block (URB) payload and that the type-specific payload covers all fields used by CAN, state, error, and overrun handlers.
