CVE-2026-78193: CWE-89 Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') in ntbyk JTL-Connector for WooCommerce
Description
The JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via 'product.push' Identity Endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The injection fires during identity linking, before ProductController::push() executes, meaning exploitation succeeds even if downstream product handling would otherwise reject the request.

Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-78193 is a high-severity SQL Injection vulnerability (CWE-89) in the JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. The flaw is a time-based SQL Injection via the 'product.push' identity endpoint in all versions up to 2.4.3. The vulnerability arises from improper neutralization of special elements in SQL commands due to insufficient escaping of user-supplied parameters and lack of prepared statements. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject additional SQL queries during identity linking, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database. The injection triggers before the ProductController::push() method executes, meaning exploitation can succeed even if later product handling would reject the request.
Potential Impact
Successful exploitation can lead to unauthorized extraction of sensitive information from the database. The vulnerability does not impact integrity or availability directly but compromises confidentiality. No known exploits are reported in the wild at this time.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. No official fix or patch links are provided in the available data. Until a patch is available, restrict access to the affected endpoint and monitor for suspicious activity related to the 'product.push' identity endpoint.
