Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-80491 identifies multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the SAMO Forms WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.0.0. The plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape user inputs before incorporating them into SQL queries, enabling unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands against the database.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation could allow unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the backend database, potentially leading to unauthorized data access, data modification, or other database-related impacts. However, no known exploits in the wild have been reported.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, users should consider disabling the plugin or restricting access to vulnerable actions if possible.
