A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel commits identified by the fixedVersions hashes. Users should update their Linux kernel to a version that includes these commits to mitigate the vulnerability. No additional action is required beyond applying the official fix.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel allows BPF LSM programs to attach to the xfrm_decode_session() hook, which can cause a kernel panic due to a BUG_ON() triggered when the hook returns an error. This issue has been resolved by disabling BPF attachment to this hook to prevent such panics.
