Description
Apache OFBiz versions before 24.09.08 are vulnerable to an authentication bypass via capture-replay of externalLoginKey values. An attacker who captures a live externalLoginKey can reuse it to gain a full session as the user without needing cookies, across all web applications accessible to that user. This occurs because the externalLoginKey is accepted as a bearer token globally before CSRF and authentication checks, is never bound to a client, does not expire, and is not invalidated after use. The framework appends live keys to cross-webapp links, and an authenticated user's key can be leaked to an attacker-controlled server via unvalidated inter-app link targets. Upgrading to version 24.09.08 addresses this issue.
