AI-suggested

A fix for this vulnerability is available in the Linux kernel versions listed as affected. Users should update to patched kernel versions to remediate this issue. Since this is a kernel-level fix, applying the official kernel updates from the vendor or distribution is the recommended remediation.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's x86 TDX port I/O handling was fixed to correct an off-by-one error in mask calculation. The issue caused the mask to be one bit too wide for all I/O sizes, potentially affecting port input/output operations. This flaw was addressed by correcting the mask calculation in the handle_in() and handle_out() functions in the arch/x86/coco/tdx/tdx.c file.
