Description

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the ShopEngine Gutenberg WooCommerce Builder Blocks Addon WordPress plugin before version 2.4.4. The flaw arises because the plugin fails to validate user capabilities or post ownership in an AJAX action and does not escape stored values before outputting them in a JavaScript context. This allows users with contributor-level roles to inject arbitrary scripts into any post, which execute when a higher privileged user edits the post.
