A fix is available that commits the link pointers immediately after the first successful krealloc() call, preventing invalid pointer dereferences on realloc failure. Users should apply the updated Linux kernel versions that include this patch to mitigate the vulnerability.
Description
CVE-2026-93039 is a use-after-free and double free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC meson driver. It occurs due to improper handling of memory reallocations in meson_card_reallocate_links(), where pointers are updated only after multiple krealloc() calls succeed. Failure in the second krealloc() can leave pointers referencing freed memory, leading to unsafe dereferences and double frees during error cleanup.
