AI-suggested
A fix is available that addresses the resource leak by properly freeing RDMA read/write contexts and request SGLs when the queue is torn down. Users should apply the updated Linux kernel versions that include this patch to prevent the memory leak. No additional mitigations are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvmet-rdma subsystem causes a resource leak when an NVMe target using RDMA transport is removed while I/O operations are still in flight. The issue results from response send completions not being delivered before connection teardown, leading to leaked RDMA read/write contexts and request scatter-gather lists (SGLs). This has been fixed by ensuring memory reclamation of in-flight responses during queue teardown.
