An official fix is available and has been applied in the affected Linux kernel versions. Users should update to the fixed versions listed to remediate this vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA/irdma subsystem was resolved by adding reference counting to user ring memory regions (MRs). This prevents userspace from deregistering memory regions that back queue pair (QP), completion queue (CQ), and shared receive queue (SRQ) rings by incrementing the MR's reference count upon association.
