Vendor/Project: dataease
Product: SQLBot

Description

CVE-2026-93660 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in dataease SQLBot versions up to 1.10.1. Technical Analysis

SQLBot through version 1.10.1 does not verify dashboard ownership in the update_resource and update_canvas API endpoints. This lack of verification allows authenticated workspace members to bypass authorization controls by providing arbitrary dashboard IDs. Consequently, attackers can rename dashboards and overwrite component data, canvas styles, and view information belonging to other users in the workspace.

Potential Impact

Authenticated users within a workspace can modify private dashboards of other users, potentially leading to unauthorized data alteration and disruption of dashboard integrity. This compromises the confidentiality and integrity of user-specific dashboard data within the affected versions of SQLBot.

Mitigation Recommendations

No vendor advisory or patch information is provided. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict workspace membership to trusted users and monitor for unauthorized dashboard modifications.
