Users should monitor the vendor's advisories for updates. Until a fix is available, consider restricting subscriber-level user input on the affected WooCommerce checkout fields or disabling the WooCommerce classic checkout path if feasible to reduce exposure.

Description

The WP-Members Membership Plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions up to and including 3.5.7. This flaw arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the WooCommerce Checkout Multicheckbox/Multiselect Field, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability is exploitable only via the WooCommerce classic checkout path, as other handlers trigger a PHP 8 TypeError and fail closed.
