Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-96903 is an information exposure vulnerability (CWE-200) in the Easy Property Listings WordPress plugin prior to version 3.5.27. The plugin fails to enforce authorization on several AJAX endpoints related to contact management. As a result, authenticated users with low-level roles can read sensitive CRM data belonging to other users, including private notes on contacts and leads. This vulnerability compromises confidentiality of user data within the plugin's CRM functionality.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows unauthorized disclosure of sensitive CRM contact and lead information to any authenticated user, even those with minimal roles such as subscribers. This exposure of private activity notes and contact details can lead to privacy violations and potential misuse of confidential information stored in the plugin's CRM system.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade the Easy Property Listings plugin to version 3.5.27 or later, where proper authorization checks have been implemented to restrict access to contact-management AJAX actions. No other mitigation is indicated by the available data.
