A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. Users should update to a kernel version that includes the fix identified by the provided commit hashes. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official patch.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's IPv4 ICMP handling allows RTN_UNREACHABLE input routes to be used improperly in icmp_route_lookup. This can trigger a kernel warning (WARN_ON_ONCE) due to an unexpected route type being used for output. The issue is fixed by rejecting RTN_UNREACHABLE input routes in the lookup function.
