A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel versions identified by the fixed commit hashes. Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes to mitigate this issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA hda driver was fixed by moving a tracepoint to occur only after a stream is successfully assigned. This prevents accessing a NULL stream tag when hardware streams are exhausted, which could cause incorrect behavior or crashes.
