Users should update to a Linux kernel version including these fixes. No other mitigation is required.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mac80211 wireless subsystem could cause a warning and potential instability by starting a remain-on-channel (ROC) operation while a scan is ongoing. This occurs because the ROC work can be pending when a scan starts, and a new ROC might be added improperly, leading to a race condition. The issue has been fixed in specific Linux kernel commits.
