Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's xfrm iptfs module could cause a kernel panic due to improper handling of runt packet reassembly when the inner IP packet length is shorter than expected. This flaw allows an attacker to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) by causing an unprivileged kernel panic via crafted packets in specific network namespaces or remotely against IPTFS VPN gateways.
