Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mlx5e driver caused swapped IPv6 IPsec policy masks, leading to incorrect hardware rules for traffic matching. This flaw could cause the system to miss traffic that should be covered by the policy or match traffic outside the intended policy. The issue arises when source and destination prefix lengths differ in IPv6 XFRM policies, resulting in masks being installed in the wrong address fields. This vulnerability has been fixed in specific Linux kernel commits.
