Description

The dd-trace-js library versions prior to 5.100.0 contain a vulnerability where W3C baggage HTTP headers are improperly parsed without limits on item count or byte size. This flaw allows remote attackers to cause unbounded CPU and memory consumption by sending requests with very large or numerous baggage header entries, resulting in a denial of service. The baggage propagation style is enabled by default in most affected tracers, exposing internet-facing services unless explicitly restricted.
