Until a fix is available, limit network exposure of backup operations and ensure backup server identity verification through alternative means if possible.
Description
IBM API Connect versions 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 contain a vulnerability where the backup server's identity is not properly verified during the establishment of secure connections for analytics backups. This flaw could allow a network-positioned attacker to intercept backup data and potentially credentials if used.
