Until a fix is available, restrict access to valid Mistral tokens and monitor for unauthorized use. Operators should be prepared to restore the maintenance state if it is maliciously set to PAUSED.
Description
OpenStack Mistral versions through 23.0.0 have a vulnerability in the /v2/maintenance API controller that allows any user with a valid Mistral token to read and modify the cluster-wide maintenance state without proper policy enforcement. This can lead to pausing the processing of new workflows and executions across all tenant projects until an operator intervenes.
