Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's kexec hardening operations (KHO) was resolved. The function kho_fill_kimage() incorrectly populated KHO metadata for crash kernel images, which can cause the crash kernel to fault during initialization due to invalid memory accesses. This issue was fixed by adding a guard to skip KHO population for crash kernel images.
