Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108612 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in JeecgBoot through version 3.9.5. Specifically, the AigcWordTemplateController's deleteBatch handler does not properly enforce authorization checks, enabling low-privileged authenticated users to delete word templates by issuing a DELETE request to the /airag/word/deleteBatch endpoint with comma-separated template IDs. This results in unauthorized deletion of templates in the shared library.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows low-privileged authenticated users to delete word templates without proper authorization, leading to loss of data integrity and availability of shared templates. There is no confidentiality impact reported. The CVSS score of 5.4 (medium) reflects limited impact confined to integrity and availability.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious DELETE requests targeting /airag/word/deleteBatch.
