Description

JeecgBoot versions through 3.9.5 have a missing authorization vulnerability in the AiragPromptsController's queryById handler. This flaw allows low-privileged authenticated users to access AI prompt templates belonging to other users, including administrators. Attackers can enumerate prompt template IDs via an unprotected endpoint and retrieve sensitive prompt details without proper authorization.

Technical Analysis

The vulnerability in JeecgBoot up to version 3.9.5 is due to missing authorization checks in the AiragPromptsController's queryById handler. Low-privileged authenticated users can exploit this by enumerating prompt template IDs through the unguarded /airag/prompts/list endpoint and then querying each ID to read prompt text, model parameters, and creator information of other users, including administrators. This represents a broken access control issue classified under CWE-862.

Potential Impact

An attacker with low-level authentication privileges can read AI prompt templates of other users, potentially exposing sensitive prompt text, model parameters, and user details. This could lead to information disclosure but does not affect system integrity or availability.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. No official fix or patch links are provided. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoints and monitor for unauthorized access attempts.
