Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108610 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in JeecgBoot through version 3.9.5. Specifically, the AigcWordTemplateController's edit handler does not properly restrict access, enabling any authenticated user to overwrite shared word templates via PUT or POST requests to the /airag/word/edit endpoint. This improper access control issue is classified under CWE-862 (Missing Authorization). The vulnerability has a CVSS 3.1 base score of 4.3, indicating a medium severity with low attack complexity and requiring low privileges but no user interaction.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows low-privileged authenticated users to modify shared word templates that other users rely on for document generation. This could lead to integrity issues in generated documents but does not impact confidentiality or availability. There is no evidence of known exploits in the wild at this time.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the /airag/word/edit endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for unauthorized modification attempts.
