Until a fix is available, avoid processing untrusted Teletext streams or apply any vendor-recommended mitigations once published.

Description

libzvbi versions up to 0.2.45 contain an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Teletext decoder. This flaw allows attackers to corrupt memory by sending specially crafted Teletext streams with unvalidated DRCS pixel-mode values. Exploitation can cause the application to crash due to buffer overflow in the convert_drcs function.
