AI-suggested
A patch is available and should be applied by updating the linux-nvidia-tegra kernel package to version 6.8.0-1029.30 or later. After updating, a system reboot is required to apply the changes. Due to an ABI change, all third-party kernel modules must be recompiled and reinstalled. Follow the vendor advisory at https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-8498-1 for detailed update instructions.
Description
Multiple security vulnerabilities were discovered in the Linux kernel for NVIDIA Tegra systems, affecting a wide range of kernel subsystems and architectures. These issues could potentially allow an attacker to compromise the affected system. The vulnerabilities impact numerous kernel components including architectures (ARM64, MIPS, PowerPC, x86), device drivers, filesystems, networking subsystems, and security modules. A patch has been released to address these flaws in version 6.8.0-1029.30 of the linux-nvidia-tegra kernel.
