Description

A vulnerability in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before version 2.7.0 causes a denial of service due to an infinite loop in the Pkcs12Store.GetCertificateChain method. The loop occurs when processing a crafted PKCS#12 file containing certificates whose issuer links form a cycle, leading to unbounded CPU and memory consumption until an OutOfMemoryException is thrown.
