Malicious code in amprem (npm)
Description
The npm package 'amprem' contains malicious code that compromises any computer on which it is installed or running. The compromise is severe enough that all secrets and keys stored on the affected system should be rotated immediately from a different, trusted machine. Removing the package alone may not fully remediate the infection, as the attacker may have established persistent control over the system.

Technical Analysis
The 'amprem' package in the npm ecosystem is identified as containing malicious code. Installation or execution of this package results in a full compromise of the host system. The attacker may gain persistent control, making removal of the package insufficient to guarantee system integrity. Immediate secret and key rotation from a separate, uncompromised system is strongly advised.
Potential Impact
Full system compromise on any computer with the 'amprem' package installed or running. Potential exposure and theft of all stored secrets and keys. Persistent attacker control may remain even after package removal.
Defensive Guidance
Remove the 'amprem' package immediately. Rotate all secrets and keys from a different, secure computer. Because the attacker may have persistent access, consider a full system reinstallation or forensic analysis to ensure complete remediation.
