Description
The npm package bella-bakwan47-riris is part of a large-scale spam campaign linked to the tea.xyz token reward system. It contains malicious code that automatically generates and republishes derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The payload modifies package.json files to remove private flags and alter version numbers, enabling continuous republishing to inflate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
