Description
The npm package bigops-opening-file-handler version 35.9.2 contains malicious code that, when required, downloads and executes a native binary from attacker-controlled infrastructure. This binary is fetched from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers subdomains or a DNS TXT fallback, saved under disguised filenames in temporary directories, given execute permissions, and run automatically. The package falsely advertises itself as a file-handler abstraction but executes unrelated native code without user consent.
