Description
The npm package bigops-product-list version 35.8.5 contains malicious code that downloads and executes opaque binaries from suspicious external domains unrelated to its stated purpose. The code uses obfuscation techniques to evade static analysis and analyst detection, including runtime string assembly for hostnames, environment checks to suppress execution in analyst environments, and disguised filenames for the dropped binaries. The malicious payload is executed detached from the main process, potentially enabling unauthorized code execution on affected systems.
