Description
The npm package cindy-lengko23-tititugel contains malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign flooding the npm registry in 2024. This campaign uses autopublish scripts to generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload manipulates package metadata to remove privacy flags and increment version numbers, enabling continuous republishing of variants. The intent is to inflate developer reputation scores for the tea.xyz token reward system by polluting the npm ecosystem with spam packages.
