Description
The npm package 'claims-get-base-url' version 35.4.5 contains malicious code that executes a dropper chain upon being required. This dropper downloads and executes platform-specific binaries from obfuscated and attacker-controlled hosts, using DNS TXT record fallback channels and hidden staging paths. The package's advertised functionality does not justify this behavior, indicating deliberate malicious intent. Installing and loading this package results in attacker-controlled native code execution on the host machine.
