Description
The devplatform-po-transformer npm package version 35.1.8 contains malicious code that, upon import, detects the operating system and architecture, then downloads and executes an opaque binary from remote Cloudflare Workers endpoints. This binary is saved to temporary locations with deceptive filenames and executed without any integrity verification, allowing arbitrary persistent code execution on the host. The package uses a DNS-TXT covert channel fallback to retrieve code and suppresses repeated execution via a local TTL marker file.
