Description
The devplatform-spa-plugin-i18next-instance npm package version 35.5.9 contains malicious code that, upon import, silently downloads and executes a platform-specific binary from anonymous Cloudflare Workers hosts or fallback DNS TXT records. The binary is saved with disguised filenames mimicking system components and executed without integrity verification. The package reconstructs sensitive API names at runtime to evade detection. A telemetry opt-out flag exists but does not prevent the malicious network activity or execution.
