Description
The npm package dewanto-tumis75-breki contains malicious code associated with the tea.xyz token reward campaign that flooded npm with over 15,000 spam packages in 2024. These packages use autopublish scripts to automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload modifies package.json files to remove private flags, change version numbers, and continuously republish variants, aiming to inflate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
