Description

The npm package dian-lutis57-wekto is part of a large-scale malicious campaign flooding the npm registry with over 15,000 spam packages. These packages contain autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized names to manipulate developer reputation scores for the tea.xyz token reward system. The malicious code modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants, thereby polluting the npm ecosystem.
