Description

The npm package eko-sate32-riris was identified as containing malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign associated with the tea.xyz token reward system. This campaign involves over 15,000 spam packages that use autopublish scripts to automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious code modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants to inflate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
