Description

The npm package fadhil-kembang35-riris contains malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign flooding npm with over 15,000 packages in 2024. These packages deploy autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload manipulates package.json files by removing private flags and altering version numbers, enabling continuous republishing of variants to inflate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
