Description
The jest-hoist npm package version 9.9.0 contains malicious code that installs a dependency from a custom domain which runs an information stealer during installation. This malware targets sensitive tokens related to npm, git, and CI/CD environments. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on that system must be rotated immediately from a different, secure machine. Removing the package alone may not eliminate all malicious software introduced.
