Description
The npm package 'library-explorer' version 25.2.1 contains malicious code that executes during installation. Its preinstall script collects detailed host system information and user identity data, then sends this data to a hardcoded external server. The package provides no legitimate functionality and appears to be designed for reconnaissance or data exfiltration during dependency installation.
