Malicious code in @mep-exp/api-tools (npm)

The request runs unconditionally during `npm install` (preinstall lifecycle) and on every require/CLI invocation, with errors silently swallowed. The package scope (@mep-exp) and bin names (mesh-swagger-cli, mesh-exp-entitlements, mesh-exp-routes, mesh-exp-api-clients, etc.) impersonate an internal Westpac 'MEP Experience Platform' toolchain, and the exfil payload includes a `note: "Westpac CT"` marker — consistent with a dependency-confusion attack against that organization's internal namespace published on public npm. The package provides no legitimate functionality beyond the beacon. ## Source: ghsa-malware (842cc685b064b1d62740918a231d9201d08633de96c0bb7155889e9c7073d48d) Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
